March 2, 2026 My sister. just finished a round of chemo and radiation and has to wait about a month or more until they scan her again to see if the tumor has shrunk or is gone. It’s an anxious time, not to mention, she’s pretty worn down from it all. Please pray for all of us as we wait and please pray that the treatments have worked. November 19, 2025 Prayer for Tobin's back and neck pain that the pain's source will be healed and those pains will not become chronic November 10, 2025 Please pray for my student Angel who is struggling with behavior issues, anger and anxiety. Help him to take ownership and have a more positive attitude towards the school, friends, and adults trying to help him. November 10, 2025 Please pray for our Small Group as we support our sisters in Christ who have experienced the tragic loss and injury from a reckless driver in Florida. One member of our group lost her niece - newly engaged - to another members family friend and who was critically injured and hospitalized with a brain bleed. The families are devastated and grieving. We want to support them and are hurting for them. Thank you for keeping us in prayer and for Colin and Kristina's families. November 2, 2025 My daughter, Taylor H. and baby need prayer. She is 25 weeks pregnant, she has dilated 3 cm and has a small amniotic leak. Currently she is inpatient at Walter Reed Hospital in Maryland for duration of pregnancy. I am going this week to be with her for the weekend. Please pray for their health and for the pregnancy to continue without more complication. Pray for our peace. October 19, 2025 Prayers for the villages of SW Alaska that suffered severe flooding from Typhoon Halong. 2 villages suffered terrible losses, but all of them are affected. Quinhagak, where we led mission trips for many years, has lost their water supply. Pray for peace & comfort for all of the people, especially those that displaced. October 14, 2025 Please pray for Jim G. who is in the hospital with some serious health issues. September 28, 2025 Sometimes I feel like I'm not meant to become anything big (make big impacts, have a voice, thrive), please pray that good things come my way, for God's empowerment so that I may heal, rise, and help others. Please pray for my family, for my child to sleep through the night, as I'm very tired; for my job to treat me well; for supportive and loving friendships at work and home as I feel so lonely at times. September 25, 2025 Please pray for Carey who at 51 will have valve replacement open heart surgery on October 14. Please pray for the days preceding that she will rest in our Father's presence, that the day of the surgeons and medical team will be guided by experience and care, and that she will recover without complication. We thank you Jesus for your part in seeing her and those of us who love her through this experience. September 18, 2025 With a weary heart as a working mom, please pray for me. I need miracles in my job, that I make impacts, and that I get promoted this year (my second time trying after 2 years). Please pray for my nephew Jayden's surgery on 9/19, for all to go well, safely, and quick recovery. Please pray for my mom's medical appointments, for health, healing, and comfort. Our relationship is very strained but I try to keep it going and checking up on her. It's another miracle in our lives that we need. Please pray for us. Thank you, thank you!! May God bless you! Sunday Nights at UALC Discipleship offerings for every age. And they include dinner! Adults and Kids | 5:00-7:00 pm The next session of Sunday Nights will begin in September, 2026 at the Lytham Road Campus. There'll be nursery, and "Rooted Kids" for children ages 4-5th grade with games, small groups, and faith lessons. Adults will have "Deeply Rooted," a study with a focus on Christian faith and scripture. Costs for materials: $15/adult, $10/child. There will also be Adult Electives focusing on different aspects of Christian faith and ethics. Teens | 5:00-7:30 pm Middle School Ministry and High School Ministry are at the Mill Run Campus during the school year. These are all about fun, friends, food, learning about God's love and our relationship with him. (A shuttle leaves at 4:45 pm to take teens from Lytham Road to Mill Run if needed.)
