Elementary
The curiosity of kids abounds. They ask deep questions about the world and how it works; wanting to know their place, their purpose, and if their perception of this vast space is aligned with what is true. Our Kids Ministry team wants to partner with you to stoke the flames of these investigative sparks you see in your child. Kids Ministry at UALC provides a safe space for kids to engage with the message of the Gospel and find that it answers all their questions about who they are and how the world is meant to be.

Kids' Church
For PreK–5th graders
All of our Modern Worship Services offer Kids’ Church throughout the school year. Kids’ Church content follows along with the Narrative Lectionary, as do our sermons, allowing for shared family conversations after the service each week.
Mill Run has Kids' Church at both the 9:00 & 11:00 am services. Lytham Road has Kids' Church at 11:00 am. (Both campuses have PreK Kids' Church throughout the year.)
On Small Group Sundays, kids are invited to join the service for gathered worship with their parent or guardian. Prior to the sermon, kids are dismissed to grade specific small groups to build deeper friendships and discipleship conversations. On the third Sunday of each month, kids are invited to our Rally Sunday — an exciting and kid-friendly parallel service that runs the entire worship hour.

First Communion
Mill Run & Lytham Road Campuses
First Communion classes are designed with children in 2nd and 3rd grade in mind but the class is open to children 2nd-5th grade.* Parents and children have a hands-on discovery of what Communion is at an age-appropriate level. This class is followed by a Seder (Passover) meal and Communion bread baking at the home of a UALC host family.
The next session begins October 25 and concludes with services on November 8. Find details here.
