God's Love for us
By Kim Starr
The passage for today provides the ultimate assurance that God's love for His people is invincible and eternal. God sent his own son to die for each of us. If he will give us his one and only son, how can he not give us all things? God justifies. Jesus, who died, rose, and is sitting at the right hand of his father, intercedes for us. No one can separate us from the love God has for us. And, because of his love for us, we are more than conquerors. That means there is not one single thing that exists that will be able to separate us from the love of God.
How can we comprehend that kind of love? How can we comprehend that God has that kind of love for each and every one of us? That means we have to multiply the amount of love he has for us individually by every single person that exists either in the past, present, or future.

The emphasis is on God's love for us. God’s love for us is very different from the human kind of love we are familiar with. It's an out-of-this-world kind of love. It is complete; it is constant; it is everlasting; it is rich; it is strong; it is unstoppable. It never wanes; it doesn't go away. It is the love of God because He is love. He has chosen to love each of us with an everlasting love. Nothing can separate us from that love, even when we sin and even when we fail. God’s love for us is so enormous, so immense, that it is beyond our comprehension.
Close your eyes. Wrap your arms around your body. Picture in your mind’s eye God holding you so close that you can feel his breath on your head. You are gripped in his embrace. You can feel all of his love for you by the way he is holding you, breathing, and being still. Keep that vision in your mind today. Know that God loves you. He is here for you. He is holding you. He is giving you, yes you, all the love he has.
PRAYER
Oh, God. Thank you for loving us: each and every one of us. Help us to hold on to the vision in our mind and remember your love is always there. Amen.

Nice job, Kim. This was very uplifting and needed for us today.
Thank you! I needed to hear this!
Wow! That made me sit up and say THANK YOU GOD! The visual is perfect. What a way to start the day!
This is lovely, Kim. I appreciate your words this morning. I have been praying this day for a number of folks to come to Jesus while they still can. I realize that Jesus wants this much more than I.
