Flood Relief Ohio Mission Trip

Why We're Going to help: 

In August, storms ravaged through parts of the midwest, including Crooksville, Ohio. Homes and businesses in the areas flooded fast.

This is exactly the kind of need our church exists to step into. Jesus didn't wait for people to come to him with their needs already sorted out. He went to them, in their homes and in their mess, and he served. Sending a team for flood relief is one concrete way we can do the same: show up, work hard, and let our hands be an answer to someone's prayer for help. 

Trip Details 

• Dates: October 3–8 (Come for one day or the entire week)

• Location: Crooksville, Ohio

• Work: Repairing flood-damaged homes alongside homeowners. No need to bring tools if you don’t have them, but you can bring them if you do. Kitchen help is also needed.

• Accommodations: tbd

What to Expect 

This trip will be physical and unglamorous. We'll be working with our hands, and spending our days alongside families who are still sorting through what's left. It won't be comfortable every moment, but it will be meaningful. No special skills are required, just a willingness to work hard and serve well. Kitchen help is especially needed.
