In addition to her work at OSU, Amy is co-founder and vice-chair of the Anne M. Wolf Breast Cancer Foundation, a not-for-profit founded in memory of her sister, Anne. Amy has consistently demonstrated an understanding of and passion for mission-driven, non-profit organizational leadership. Amy enjoys cheering on their daughters’ basketball and volleyball teams and the Ohio State Buckeyes, as well as rose gardening.
The executive director works directly with the Senior Pastor and has management responsibility for all staff not directly assigned to the teaching and worship teams, including both operations and direct ministry leaders. They will collaborate with the Senior Pastor and staff to set and pursue goals to fulfill the church's vision.
Connections Director (Mill Run Campus)
Stacy Schad is a life-long member of the congregation who has a passion for God and people, and as such has served in many ministries over the years. She loves building relationships, being outside in nature with family and friends, especially walking or kayaking. Stacy brings to this role twenty years of professional experience in various administrative and leadership roles.
The Connections Director will work directly with the Mill Run Campus Pastor on weekly projects related to relational outreach, Sunday morning hospitality, guest follow-up, and connecting people to next steps like small groups, service opportunities, and youth programs.
Worship Director (Mill Run)
Ashley Fruhling is an experienced worship leader, song-writer, recording artist and disciple-maker of worship leaders. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a minor in religious studies. She recently completed a Master’s of Divinity from The Master’s Institute (a Lutheran seminary in Minnesota). She has experience planning and leading worship in both large, non-denominational worship settings, and in a mid-sized Lutheran church. In addition to leading with a variety of churches, she also has led worship for the LCMC at our annual gathering. She also has experience as a music instructor and theater director.
Kids' Ministry Director
Melissa has fruitful ministry leadership experience in multiple church and parachurch environments. She also has classroom experience as an elementary and middle school teacher in various districts here in Central Ohio. She is passionate about children and family ministry, outreach, and helping people grow in Christ. The Davis family found UALC, got connected with other people here, and resonated with our vision to be a “see how they love one another” Oasis of God’s Kingdom before any of us knew that we would need a new partner in children’s ministry. But God provided for our needs in advance, and we are blessed to have Melissa take the baton from Andrea Taphorn and begin leading in our children’s ministries. Melissa will serve all our children’s ministries, but you will find her most often at Lytham Road. We are still looking for a half-time partner to work alongside Melissa with a special focus on Mill Run.
Special Event Coordinator
"Children have always been my passion! I began my career teaching preschool, then transitioned into full time childcare from my home for 18 years while I was raising my own children. In 2017, I joined the nursery staff at UALC, then took on the role of Kids’ Church intern for 2 years. While my new role as Special Event Coordinator is a change from my childcare days, I come from a huge family and planning meals and events just came naturally to me. I am loving the diversity of experiences in my new position and especially the people I work with. No two days are the same, and I love that!"

Connections Director (Lytham Road)
Tammy Schuster, with her husband Jeff and their kids Michah, Kyla, Xan and Stoyan, is a long-term member of UALC, and has been a faithful member and leader of various ministries throughout the years. She has served in MOPS, YKVBS, small group ministry, youth ministry and young life, Carol Choir and more. In addition, Tammy has worked for years in administration and logistics outside of the church. She is also an invested and involved member of the Upper Arlington community, serving and leading in young life, special olympics, and programs with UA schools. Recently Tammy accepted an offer from UALC to give her full-time attention, and considerable gifts, to help people get connected at Lytham Road. She will give leadership to hospitality teams, welcome and connect with guests, and help existing members find next steps of connection and service.
Worship Director (Lytham Road)
Tim Krock has recently joined the staff full time as the Worship Director for our Lytham Road campus. Tim has been serving as a worship and band leader part-time at the church for six years before this move to full time. Over that time he has helped to lead modern worship, played piano and organ for the Traditional service, and helped to craft and record worship and special services during our seasons of online worship. Prior to working for the church, Tim practiced law, working in several industries in the community. We are excited now that he can use his team building abilities, his musical expertise and his great attention to detail to lead the worship teams at Lytham Road. In addition to giving oversight to the Lytham music ministry, Tim is also giving leadership to worship production technology at Lytham - sound, lighting, livestreaming and video. We are grateful for Tim and all the work he is doing to bless the Lytham worship community!
Mill Run Campus Pastor
Many will know Pastor David from his leadership in our youth and family ministries, and from his leadership in our adult small groups and growth workshops. David has been in full-time ministry for 17 years, 7 years of which have been at UALC. He developed youth ministries, worship services and led through music for nine years before coming to UALC. He consistently shapes ministries that value people of all ages so everyone can be growing and connected in the body of Christ. David also has a real passion for outreach and work in the community, especially in developing the O2 Conference. He has recently been managing the seven staff members of the Spiritual Growth Team and has led a number of church-wide projects. All in all, he wants to spend his life on what matters most to God even if his efforts are as imperfect as his "daily" workouts. David is now transitioning into his new responsibilities as Campus Pastor at our Mill Run Campus.
