Heart to Honduras seeks to form disciples who will transform their world — to foster thriving Honduran communities by developing the gifts and capacities of visionary, engaged, local leaders.
Since 2002, UALC has partnered with Heart to Honduras in many ways over the years, including through our financial support, short-term mission trips, food initiatives, COVID relief efforts, and more. We share 20% of your offering with mission partners outside of our church, and Heart to Honduras remains one of our longest-standing partners.
Short-term Mission Trips
Winter Mission Trip
In January, a team of 28 traveled to Caliche in partnership with Heart to Honduras. Some of the team served alongside of the local community to prepare the ground for a foundation of a new security fence around the school. Another group of the team spent the week building a foundation for a community center in a nearby village. It was amazing to see God at work in this community and through this partnership.

Join us in prayer…
Pray that God assembles the right teams to go and serve in Honduras.
Pray for God's protection of the team members before, during, and after the trip… specifically for the enemy to be kept at bay as they prepare to go.
Pray for the staff and leadership of the Heart to Honduras ministry. Pray that God keeps them safe, encouraged, and healthy. Pray for God to open doors for support, and unique ways for them to reach their community for Jesus.
Pray that God uses UALC’s short-term mission trip to shape the hearts of those attending, and those they will impact when in the country.
