VBS and Young Kids VBS at UALC!

Vacation Bible School

   The highlight of the summer!

VBS and Young Kids VBS had two amazing weeks!
We're thrilled that so many children and families came to Mill Run and Lytham Road for Vacation Bible School. See the fun we've had and click below go to KodakShare Gallery for:

We truly value your comments and VBS stories. There is nothing that inspires VBS Volunteers more than hearing what a child said about their experience. Please take a few minutes and complete our VBS online survey here or contact Joy Peterson, 451-3736 ext. 7617, children@ualc.org.

A few remaining t-shirts and CDs are still available at bargain prices. Download the order form here and send it with payment. Still need help with the songs? Download the VBS song lyrics for K-6 here or the Young Kids VBS lyrics here.

How can your family "Let Your Light Shine" after VBS?
We've talked about how to shine for Jesus in our world (at home, at school, with friends, near and far). Here are some simple ways to "shine" by serving with your family:
   •  Bake cookies together for Kairos.
   •  Bake desserts and collect toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc.
       for Faith Mission.
   •  Have a neighborhood food collection for the Food Pantry or
the Hilliard Free Summer Lunch Program.
   •  Make placemats, cards or banners expressing God’s love for
       those in prison.
   •  Support our missions. Find the many ways here.
   •  Weed and gather produce in the UALC Community Garden.

All these service activities can be delivered or done at UALC. Please e-mail Lisa Ryan, ryans80@wowway.com, for ongoing information. Remember, everything we do is for Jesus, who knows our hearts and rewards our efforts.

Volunteers
In order to make VBS happen, many adult volunteers and teen helpers contributed countless hours to let their light shine! A big thank you to each and every person. We couldn't have done it without them.
