Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry 
Serving the hungry by distributing grocery items. Serve in the pantry on Champion Ave. Also donate non-perishable food and Christian materials (Bibles, coloring books) in the bins at Lytham Road and Mill Run.

Kindway/EMBARK Prison Ministry

Bed Brigade

South East Ohio Mission Trip 
Short-term mission trip to Caldwell, Ohio, partnering with HARP mission. Activities include: construction, bed-building, prayer and care. Apply by April 19.

Serving Our Neighbors (SON) Ministries English as a Second Language (ESL) Kids’ Club 
A full family educational program where international adults learn English. Volunteers needed for children 3-months through middle school age. Training provided. Flexible schedule.

God’s Hygiene Help Center (GHHC) 
GHHC is thrilled to announce Terry Starr as Executive Director. There is a need for another board member and numerous volunteer opportunities for staff positions including inventory, database, and serving at hygiene help centers along with other projects. GHHC provides hygiene, dignity, and hope to those in need with the compassion of Jesus. Drop hygiene product donations in the Ministry Exchange Centers at Lytham Road and Mill Run.

International Friendships (IFI) Training 
New Volunteer Training for first-time volunteers is available on-line. IFI requires training to pick up, host and meet with students who arrive starting July 2020.

Growth workshops propel us forward. Covering a wide-range of topics, they meet us right where we need to mature and prepare us for what’s next in life. Families, individuals and sometimes whole small groups participate in workshops from time to time to carve out space for phase specific growth and faith conversations that may not happen otherwise.

My Bible Beginner Growth Workshop

First Communion Growth Workshop
For parents of children fifth grade and older. Workshop includes a celebration of a Jewish Seder meal, along with teachings on Baptism and Holy Communion. Concludes with a celebratory worship service where kids receive their First Communion.

Following Jesus After Graduation Growth Workshop

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Join us for an under the sea adventure at VBS 2020, “Anchored in Jesus.” We have two programs: 
Lytham Road—preschoolers and a caregiver attend together 
Mill Run—for kids who have finished kindergarten through sixth grade VBS is just $10 per child. Registration begins in early spring, so sign up early to guarantee your child’s spot.

A small group is a small band of brothers and sisters in Christ where you can know and be known, love and be loved, care and be cared for, and grow in Christ together. Small groups meet 3-4 times/month all across town. This is the primary experience of Christian community where we live out the “one anothers” of the Bible.

Co-Ed Softball (Age 16-Adult)
The co-ed softball team emphasizes fun and fellowship—winning is optional. Men and women ages 16+ are welcome!

Tae Kwon Do Jr. (Ages 5-8)
