Kids Elementary Youth (KEY) Camp
KEY Camp provides faith-based summer fun in the great outdoors at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp in Amelia, Ohio, July 27-31, 2013. Children enrolled in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades will come home wanting even more than our five-day/four-night adventure. Each day is full of swimming (on a lake, in a pool and on a giant slip and slide), canoeing, paddleboats, conquering the climbing wall, hanging out on the Giant Swing and a few surprises. UALC members and non-members welcome. Cost is $300. Find online registration below. Kim Good, kgood@ualc.org.
Camp 56
5th and 6th graders can expect the unexpected at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp (Amelia, Ohio), July 27-31, 2013. In addition to lake and pool time, the enormous Slip and Slide, paddleboats, climbing wall, Giant Swing, mega volleyball, and basketball, 56’ers can practice archery and use the BB gun range each afternoon. We spend chapel and devotion time exploring God’s mission for each of us and still have room in the schedule for surprises and special offsite adventures. UALC members and non-members welcome. Cost is $325. Find online registration below. Kim Good, kgood@ualc.org.
Young Life Camp
Middle schoolers (6th-8th graders) head to legendary Timber Wolf Lake (a six-hour trip aboard a motor coach), August 8-12, 2013. Young Life camp promises you the “best week of your life,” and our students clearly agree. Timber Wolf is in the rolling hills of northern Michigan. Our campers join others from across the USA to spend 5 days playing, laughing, enjoying great food and trying new activities. They'll step out of their comfort zones and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented in a way teens can understand. UALC provides qualified counselors and round trip transportation. Check out Young Life’s website here. Cost is $450. Guarantee a spot by March 31. Find online registration below. Youth@ualc.org.
Student Life at the Beach
9th-12th grade students head to Daytona Beach, Florida for a weeklong adventure and worship experience July 6-14, 2013. Mornings include small group Bible study time, and evenings bring all 7000 students together for big group worship and teaching time. In between, teens enjoy beach and hanging out time on Florida’s fabulous Daytona Beach. Check out the Student Life website here. Cost is $400. Online registration closes June 10, or sooner if the trip fills up. Find online registration below. Youth@ualc.org.
Cedar Campus Family Camp
Located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula just 45 minutes from the majestic Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island, Cedar Campus has been a must-go destination for UALC families for over 20 years. Accommodations range from rustic (camping sites and small cabins with a nearby wash house) to resort-style (with kitchen and bath facilities) and from single-family units to ten-bedroom lodges. With 500 acres and six miles of beautiful Lake Huron shoreline, Cedar Campus provides various opportunities for recreation. It has been called “a place to meet God and be renewed.” This is a great time for the whole family, with boating, swimming, hiking and fun for all ages. Fees vary by lodging choice. Find an online map to the Cedarville camp here. Camp dates for 2013 are August 3-9. Guarantee a spot by March 31. Download the information and registration form here.
