UALC Summer Camps

A place for kids (and families, too!) to get to know Jesus more with all the amazing, outdoor fun you can imagine!

Kids Elementary Youth (KEY) Camp

KEY Camp provides faith-based summer fun in the great outdoors at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp in Amelia, Ohio. Children enrolled in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades (for school year 2011-12) will come home wanting even more than our five-day/four-night Mission ImPossible adventure. Camp is one week only, July 22-26. Each day will be full of swimming (on a lake, in a pool and on a giant slip and slide), canoeing, paddleboats, conquering the climbing wall, hanging out on the Giant Swing and a few surprises. UALC members and non-members welcome. Fee is $300 before April 30 (add $50 after). Find online registration below. Joy Peterson, jpeterson@ualc.org.

Camp 56

5th and 6th graders can expect the unexpected as Camp 56: Mission ImPossible 2012 arrives at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp (Amelia, Ohio), July 22-26. In addition to lake and pool time, the enormous Slip and Slide, paddleboats, climbing wall, Giant Swing, mega volleyball, and basketball, 56’ers can practice archery and use the BB gun range each afternoon. We will spend chapel and devotion time exploring God’s mission for each of us and still have room in the schedule for surprises and a special top-secret mission offsite. UALC members and non-members welcome. Fee is $320 before April 30 (add $50 after). Find online registration below. Joy Peterson, jpeterson@ualc.org.

Young Life Camp

Middle schoolers (6th-8th graders) head to legendary Timber Wolf Lake (a six-hour trip aboard a motor coach). Young Life camp promises you the “best week of your life,” and our students clearly agree, as this is our fifth trip back to Timber Wolf in the rolling hills of northern Michigan. Our campers will join others from across the USA to spend 5 days, August 10-14, playing, laughing, enjoying great food and trying new activities. They'll step out of their comfort zones and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ presented in a way teens can understand. UALC provides qualified counselors and round trip transportation. Reserve your spot by March 1. Fee is $400 before April 30 (add $50 after). Find online registration below. Check out Young Life’s website here. Angie Edmonds, aedmonds@ualc.org.

Student Life at the Beach

Summer camp with a beach, 7000 other high schoolers, Louis Giglio and Chris Tomlin on July 8-14. It is no wonder that our 9th-12th grade students want to attend year after year. Mornings include small group Bible study time, and evenings bring all 7000 students together for big group worship and teaching time. In between, teens enjoy beach and hanging out time on Florida’s fabulous Daytona Beach. Check out the Student Life website here. Be sure to reserve your spot by March 1. Fee is $400 before April 30 (add $50 after). Find online registration below. Angie Edmonds, aedmonds@ualc.org.

Cedar Campus Family Camp

Located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula just 45 minutes from the majestic Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island, Cedar Campus has been a must-go destination for dozens and dozens of UALC families for over 20 years. Families will be at camp from July 28-August 3 for a full week of fun. Accommodations range from rustic (camping sites and small cabins with a nearby wash house) to resort-style (with kitchen and bath facilities) and from single-family units to ten-bedroom lodges. With 500 acres and six miles of beautiful Lake Huron shoreline, Cedar Campus provides various opportunities for recreation. It has been called “a place to meet God and be renewed.” This is a great time for the whole family, with boating, swimming, hiking and fun for all ages. Fees vary by lodging choice. Download the information and registration form here or find an online map to the Cedarville camp here. Doug and Elizabeth Page, page.cedarcampus@gmail.com.

Fees and Registration

Registration is available online or with a paper form from the church. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due with each camper registration. Space is limited, so don't wait to register. Final payment is due by June 30.
